What I’ve Been Reading: Great Posts on Forgiveness, Christmas & More

What I've Been ReadingI don’t know about you but I’m constantly blessed by the great posts I read on other sites. Here are a few I enjoyed the last couple of weeks.

The first two are from two of my favorite bloggers, Aimee and Sharon. They never fail to speak truth to my heart.

Forgiveness is the Key to Freedom by Aimee Imbeau at “A Work of Grace.”

I am so troubled by Sharon at “Sharon Sharing God.”

Even though the Paris attacks are not at the top of the news cycle anymore (a sad commentary on the world we live in), we haven’t seen the end of terrorism so Zohar Gonen’s post will continue to be timely.

The Right Response to the Paris Terror Attacks by Zohar Gonen at Women Abiding.

I found this next post on the Titus2 Tuesdays Linkup at Time Warp Wife. We all want Christmas to be Christ-centered. If you have children, you’ll want to read this one:

Do you make these 3 Parenting Mistakes at Christmas? from Intoxicated on Life.

I can’t resist a good bit of trivia, especially Bible trivia, and this one is a faith builder! I love going to Nannette’s website just to see the photo of her and “the Sweetheart”!

Why the Comma in God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen? from Nannette at Hope in the Healing.

great posts

I hope you enjoy visiting and reading these posts as much as I did. I’ll have more great reads to share with you in a week or so. What have you been reading that has blessed you?

  1. Thank you so much, dear friend, for featuring the post on Women Abiding about the right response to the recent Paris attacks. You are so right that this is the response that will never go ‘out of fashion’ and that is the answer for the entire world’s issues.

You are such a blessing to me, Donna! Always so faithful and sweet.

    • I’m so thankful for your blog. As the world gets darker, we need more and more voices of reason and light! Thanks for your ministry.

  2. So sweet of you to feature my post! You are always so thoughtful. The Sweetheart and I had to get our pictures taken last week for Christmas cards. Let me tell you, it was not pretty! Wish I had photo shop to edit out some of that extra chin and unwanted pounds. But we are thankful to be happy, healthy and working for God. Thank you Donna, hope you have a blessed Christmas. ♥

    • Nannette, I’m with you on the photo shop. I am frequently glad that I take most of the photos and get to just leave out the ones with extra chins, but sometimes I can’t avoid it! LOL

  3. What a wonderful collection of posts! Forgiveness is the Key To Freedom is an excellent post! A lesson we all need to hold close. Thank you for sharing these!

    • Gwen, I’m glad you enjoyed them. I know I was blessed by each one. And, yes, Aimee’s post on forgiveness is excellent! December blessings!

  4. Thank you for compiling a list for us. Always love Sharon sharing God and I just finished reading the right response to the Paris attacks and that was a beautiful and necessary post. Blessings always. Misty

    • I’m glad you enjoyed the list. Be sure to check out the latest one with a new post on Christmas, some spiritual disciplines, the refugee situation and more. Blessings and thanks for taking the time to comment!
