“Can One Christian Really Make a Difference in a Culture Like This?” December 6
What can one Christian possibly do when an entire culture seems to be moving farther from God?
When truth is rejected, families are breaking down, violence is increasing, and biblical values are pushed aside, it can be tempting to feel helpless.
We may think the problems are simply too big.
Too political.
Too entrenched.
Too far gone.
But what if God has never asked us to fix the whole culture?
What if He has already told us where to begin?
Hosea lived among people who had repeatedly turned away from God. Yet even in the middle of rebellion, judgment, and spiritual unfaithfulness, God continued to show mercy and call people back to Himself.
And Scripture gives ordinary believers several very practical ways to make an eternal difference right where we are.
It may begin with something as simple as prayer, a conversation about Christ, or opening the Bible with one other person.
We’ll also look at God’s extraordinary mercy toward His unfaithful people, why truth and the knowledge of God matter so much, and what 1 John says about recognizing error and loving others.
